CREMATION CENTER

INTRODUCTION

Our country is over populated and we strongly believe in religious rituals , and almost 80% 0f the population believe in burning of the body after death’at present we are using OPEN AIR WOOD CREMATION Method

UN figures show close to 10 million people die a year in India. That leads to the felling of an estimated 50 million trees, leaves behind half a million tones of ash and produces eight million tones of carbon dioxide each year, for proper and complete combustion, 22 kgs of wood should suffice in order to burn down a human body. But due to inefficient cremation methods, the amount of wood consumed increases multi-fold.

Pollution created by open air burning of wood affects all the sphere of the life and main effects are as under

AIR POLLUTION

Air pollution has wide verities of affect on plants & crop, like premature fall of leaves, damages to crop, plants.

EFFECT ON MATERIALS

The acid rain and photochemical smog affect metals and buildings. Acid rain pollutes the soil and water sources. Acidic products of the air pollutant cause disintegration of textile, paper.

AESTHETIC LOSS

(affects the urban life and aesthetic beauty of surroundings)
Dust and smoke in the air do not allow us to have a clear view of nature’s beauty and man-made objects. Smoke and foul smells emitted by factories, automobiles, dirty drains and garbage dumps make the urban life discomfort able.

CHANGE IN CLIMATE

(As we all know the wide effect of deforestation on climate, like increase in temperature, increase in atmospheric co2 level, frequent flood and droughts)

EFFECT ON HEALTH

Open burning creates smoke that contains many pollutants which can cause health problems and reduce visibility Heart disease. In some rare cases, breathing smoke can cause death. Asthma, Wood smoke may raise lung cancer risk Mouth Cancer, Increase congenital anomalies in new born.

ECONOMICAL BENEFIT

By installing gas furnance, we will save wood of nearly 350,000kgs wood / annum.
Costing 6,00,000 Rs/Yr.($12.000) And as furnace is in enclose space it will prevent the environmental pollution too.

AIMS & OBJECTIVES

  • This project is to convert the existing wood using cremation ground to PNG GAS USING CREMATION FURNACES FOR cremation of dead bodies.Main objective of the project is to reduce the use of WOOD hence save the plant and environment. & time as gas run furnaces also provide chimneys which will create a smoke free environment thus decrease the environment pollution.
  • Entire population of city will be served as all Local Communities are using cremation ground for their relative’s cremation. Local community at present using wood for cremation of dead bodies. WE ARE PLANNING TO CONVERT THE CREMATION TO BE, BY PNG GAS RUN FURNACES. By doing so we will save wood of 350,000 kgs wood / annum. Costing 6,00,000 Rs/Yr.($12.000) And as furnaces are in enclose space it will prevent the pollution too. Entire population of city will be benefitted by this project.
  • Use of PNG gas run furnaces will be promoted by providing it, free of cost to the public. More and more people will be encouraged to use this facility
